Whatever the situation upon inspection you may discover that it's rusted or broken. The average homeowner replaces their outdoor furniture every five to seven years. This may even be the year that you will need to replace that old worn out patio furniture which can cost between $500 and $2500. Since the average homeowner replaces their furniture 3-5 times in a lifetime that adds up.

The FedEx truck just left and you have this huge pallet wrapped tight enough to drop from an airplane. So what do you do?

Well the great thing is that there is NO assembly! It's ready to use!

The only problem is that you have to get it where you want it. Just one time because it does not need to be brought in from the weather or moved to storage - EVER.

Stone furniture is great for so many reasons, but not easy to move.

Don't worry it's not as difficult as it seems, there are several options available.

1) The first is to invite a couple of friends over and reward them with pizza and beer. This way you don't need any equipment to move this stuff. A single chair weighs in around 180 lbs. So 2 guys, one on each side can lift it and carry it together. We suggest grabbing the chair by the steel frame and NOT by the arm rocks, because they are on there good, but its kind of like picking up your dog by the ear.

2) The other idea is a dolly. We move everything with a dolly.

3) Hire the guys at Labor Ready. Two will do!

4) We also offer a "White Glove Service" this is more expensive, but an option. The guys with FedEx will move your furniture to its location and dispose of all packaging.

To unpack your furniture, all you have to do is remove the shrink wrap and break the boards securing the furniture to the pallet. You can use a crowbar or hammer for this, and its ready to move!

Known for his work in stone, awarding winning artist Dwayne Cranford turns his hand to creating metal into sculpture. Dwayne has always been interested in metal sculpture and for years has created pieces for his own enjoyment and special commissioned pieces for friends and family. Now he has decided to go big and create works of art for people who enjoy metal sculpture that is unique and beautifully designed.

To commence Dwayne’s latest venture he has launched a new website, www.Metal2Sculpture.com . The website features Dwayne’s newest sculptures, “Iron Mustang“ and “Chisel.” These representational equine sculptures capture the exciting spirit and lively personality of the horse. Staged together in a stunning scene of two horses sparing, Dwayne has created a monumental display. Iron Mustang is a one of a kind work of art, standing at 11 feet tall with 1/8" welded steel, while Chisel is 9 feet tall and 8.5 feel long. These two sculptures together are majestic, powerful and highlight the artistic ability that Dwayne possesses. Obsessed with quality, Dwayne never cuts corners and puts emphasis in making the sculptures life like as seen through the artist eye. Dwayne works with stone, recycled steel, copper, stainless steel and aluminum.

"My work is all about capturing the movement, strength and spirit of the horse. Horses are amazingly powerful creatures and to be able to capture their beauty and strength in the form of steel is the greatest achievement to me. It honors the spirit and beauty of the horse." - Dwayne Cranford

These sculptures are designed for those who enjoy art that isn’t over done but is simple in nature and beautiful in design.
Two thoughts on the minds of many people today is how to save money and go green. With the economy tightening up people want their hard earned cash to go further and work harder. There is also a concern for the ecology and shrinking our carbon footprint. When it comes to buying outdoor furniture there hasn’t been any choices that allow you to stretch your dollar and be kind to Mother Earth at the same time, until now.

Award winning, Stone Furniture artist, Dwayne Cranford, has designed furniture that is economy and ecology focused. The fact is that low quality outdoor furniture will be rotten or broken in 2-3 years unless it is made of high quality, durable, weatherproof materials, which most are not. Dwayne has designed furniture made out of material that is already 200 million years old and combined it with the durability of recycled steel or rust-free aluminum frames for furniture that can withstand all the harsh damaging elements Mother Nature can dish out. This stone furniture isn’t just beautiful and a joy to relax in, it is friendly on the wallet and the planet. Stone furniture is friendly to the wallet because it is a one time purchase. You won’t spend money on replacing the furniture every two to three years, in fact, many people come back to add to their collection, and there isn’t any expense involved in maintenance. Just take a hose and wash off your furniture from time to time. Stone furniture is also surprisingly comfortable and stylish. In addition environmentally friendly stone furniture won't end up in the landfills; instead it can be handed down as an heirloom for the next generation.

Stone furniture is an investment that will pay dividends for years to come. Because it withstands the elements, it will look just as beautiful in fifty years as it does today. It won’t rust, chip, peel or even blow away. Because the furniture is made out of 95% reused and recycled material and is not mass produced using harsh chemicals, it is the choice for those consumers looking for a way to go green without sacrificing style and quality. Be it a bar set, a patio set or even a bench, stone furniture is the last outdoor furniture you will ever have to buy.

Sure......it sounds easy, but there are a lot of things to consider when placing stone furniture. Weather you have a small area or a large area to fill here are a few tips that will make planning easier:

1) Location: pick an area that you enjoy and want to spend a lot of time.

2) The view: if you are going to spend a lot of time sitting in an area make sure that the view is something that you love.

3) Weather: the sun and wind play a lot into placing stone furniture. If this is an area that you will spend more time during the early morning hours then you will probably want your furniture facing east to warm it. If you are going to be out there at high noon think about having shade to keep you from getting too hot. You can put your seating under a tree or have an umbrella in a stand that is readily available to pop open. In the evening stone furniture will retain heat and dissipate it after the sun has set. This is a great feature and sitting in chairs that have warmed from the sun is a great way to settle into star gazing.

4) Deck: stone furniture is perfectly fine to set on a deck. The main thing to remember is that you will probably have a railing in view and therefore would probably want to go with a bar set. This will put you up over the railing and give you a better view.

5) Open Setting: the beauty of stone furniture is that you can set it anywhere and this includes the boonies. It can be set in a forest, under a tree, by a pond, on top of a mountain, or on a trail. It does not require any maintenance, its not going to blow away, and it will always be there waiting for you to take a rest.

6) Swivel or not to Swivel: there are many times when swivel chairs are a must. When sitting in an area that you want to enjoy 360 degree views, its worth investing in swivel chairs. It is also great to have swivel stools at a bar or in a small space.

7) Placing next to a pool: the first piece of furniture that comes to mind is the chaise lounge. Perfect to lay in and take a nap or read a book. Dining Sets are great by a pool too so that you can enjoy snacks and drinks next to the pool.

8) In the garden: place a bench in your garden for enhancement and relaxing. A bench under a tree is nice or put 2 back to back under a tree to enjoy views in all directions.

9) Public Areas: at the office or in a public location, a bench works great because we build them to be secured to the ground and they also accommodate several people at one time. The solid picnic tables are great in the courtyard at the office. The average weight on a set with 4 stools is 2400 lbs. These sets are not going to disappear.

10) Fire Pit: Deep Seating stone chairs are best around a fire pit. They are flame retardant and no maintenance is required. They are sloped back for a comfortable relaxing sit.

11) Your favorite spot: the Deep Seating chair in Stone works everywhere and you can add an ottoman to kick your feet up to read and relax.

Regardless of where you place your Stone Furniture, you will have years of comfort and relaxation with no maintenance and never a worry that your furniture will blow away, crack, chip or splitter. Stone Furniture is a great way to enhance the surrounding beauty of nature and increase your enjoyment of your favorite spot.

Yea for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado!
I was surprised and moved when I saw both sides of highway 287 lined with American flags at every light post! This simple beautiful reminder of how proud we are to be Americans. Would love to see this everyday...

Polished Black Granite Picnic Table with 4 Stools

Stone Picnic Tables are Great for Summer Fun!

Bet your neighbor does NOT have one of these!

The ultimate picnic table, you can leave these babies out all year around with NO maintenance.
There is nothing else like it on the market!

They come in many sizes and are great for the yard. No one is going to steal it and it's not going to blow away.
They are very affordable considering there is over 2000 lbs of weight, but don't worry they are not impossible to set up. My first recommendation is with some kind of machinery like a fork lift or skid steer. Or you can hire a few guys from a labor company and there is always friends and neighbors. We move the stools with a dolly and the help of a friend. Actually Dwayne and his friend Bill do a good job. The table top is sperate from the pedestal making it easier.

The best part is that you only have to set it up once, and it will never go to the landfill.

Blue Stain Beetle Kill Chairs, who knew that something so destructive could create such beauty? We have partnered with a local woodworker to bring you handcrafted, high-end wood furniture. By using traditional woodworking techniques and sustainable practices we are able to salvage and preserve wood that would otherwise spend years decomposing in the forest and raising fire hazard. All the wood we use is locally harvested, including Beetle Kill Pine, Aspen, Ash and Bristle Cone Pine (the oldest tree in the world) . This is just beautiful! The way the chair seats are cut you can acctually count the rings to see how old the tree was that gave you this beautiful chair.

Lightweight aluminum frames will never rust, these chairs weigh in around 60 lbs each.

The blue stain on the seat is natural from the beetles that have lived in the tree.
